In 1999, after spending his entire career up to that point working for John Hancock, Joseph Karsner realized his dream of going into business on his own, opening Joe Karsner & Associates, in Gambrills, MD. Joe Karsner & Associates combines Mr. Karsner’s nearly 30 years of experience in the insurance field with the combined expertise of his associates and their ability to provide top tier individualized service to their clientele.
Currently, Joe Karsner & Associates works mainly to advise clientele on life insurance and long term care solutions. Long term care solutions are a relatively new branch of insurance, which was designed to help pay for home hospice and rest home care for senior citizens. Because the cost of individualized care for the aging is increasing by astronomical proportions each year, many seniors are not or will not be financially prepared to cover these costs should the need ever arise.
